Affordable for school – Bought these for my 8yo third grader for his online classes. He’s gone through a few pairs, but this is the first pair he was super excited about. Since they were priced similar to the plain headphones with mic recommended, I figured we’d give the more exciting pair a chance. I’m guessing comfort isn’t an issue, as he often continues to wear them throughout the day even when his classes are over. They don’t light up unless the USB dongle is plugged in, but the headphones still work with just the headphone jack.

Mic Quality HELLA GOOD for its Price! – This Budget Gaming Headset met my expectations when it comes to Microphone and Sound Quality, but one thing that made it confusing was tweaking and trying out the “Noise Cancellation” built in inside the device, cause I’ll tell you this, while it does have a phenomenal Microphone Quality, it is highly sensitive and picks up pretty much everything in the background, be it a TV static or the sound of a Fan, hell even my PC fans can be heard in in the background. I’m not sure how the Noise Cancellation works for this device, a software maybe or something in the Sound System Manager, but so far all I could do was configure its sensitivity (loudness) but not anything that makes it ignore any background or unnecessary noises. I’m still trying my best to find out how to stop the microphone from registering background noises, so if anyone can tell me how to, I’d appreciate it. Otherwise, it might just be the device itself.
