Static Color Modes Available as of Nov. 2020 – When I was reading the reviews of this product a lot of people mentioned that one of the downfalls was that it didn’t have static color modes. Upon arrival, I tested out the device and it does indeed have static color modes (although it still doesn’t have static yellow as an option). I am assuming that this is a newer update to the device. I just thought I should mentioned it incase anyone was thinking about buying.

Almost Gold – Love this product. It’s really beautifully made, and I feel like quality often lacks in items like this. I’m serious, I think I could take out a home invader with this thing. My ONLY critique is that it wasn’t specified that you can’t pick a solid color from the RGB to leave it on- so you’re stuck endlessly rainbow cycling, even on different modes. Still a gorgeous item, just wish that there were better specifications/instructions that were given pre-purchase.

As a student studying from home this semester, I wanted to ramp up my desk and make it enjoyable to be there. The RGB colors look beautiful and are not distracting, and I can change them to my liking. The body itself takes up minimal space, and sits nicely next to my monitor. The functionality of this is also simple, yet awesome. My MacBook only has two USB-C ports and one is reserved for charging so having the three extra is essential. I was shocked at the transfer speed using the USB ports on this. As an engineering student and photographer, I am often transferring large folders of images from camera, to computer, to an external HD. I saw no reduction in speeds, and was just as fast as the native USB adapters I have. No regrets so far, and I don’t see any coming.
