Absolutely Amazing for the Price! – (Brown switches) This is my first foray into optical keyboards and modding keyboards, so I took some pictures of it taken apart. So on the manufacturer’s site, this keyboard sells for about $60. I got it on a cyber Monday sale for $20, and I must say, it feels and functions like an $80 keyboard! I was impressed this kb even comes with two layers of sound dampening foam; one between the switch housing metal cut out and PCB and one between the PCB and plastic case. I’ve since stuffed the case bottom with cut up socks for even more dampening. I tried it with no foam and it sounded plasticy, which it is, but with the foams and socks, it sounds like an $80+ kb again.
