– The cable in the first one in 2017 was dodgy, had a short at end somehow and eventually got dirty there and would always cause my sensitive PC to stutter more, it was defective mouse from the first batches, and would cause problems with keep using it, i eventually realized the cable had the problem. The cable probably still is thin, but this new one from 2021, works fine, and stays plugged in. It has very nice 1 to 1 tracking provided the shape will fit you, for me it did, no other mouse shape like the funky ones actually makes me comfortable gaming or using the computer. It does have 1000hz, and it does come with no acceleration by default, and in the software (youd have to want it, but if you buy a mouse like this, why would you? getting used to a raw input is so much nicer…..

Really good, lightweight mouse – While my search for the perfect mouse continues, the Rival 310 is close in a lot of regards for what I’ve been looking. I’m generally on my computer for 10+ hours a day, where my work is mouse-heavy at times and my playtime is gaming. My goal has been to find a mouse that works well whether I’m on the clock or off since switching mice out is a pain. I’ve owned many different makes of mice, most recently being the G502 Proteus Spectrum(

Good mouse for $37 – Good mouse for $37 but after about 1 year the adhesion of the grey pads on the sides starts to fail and the pads slip. The glue material also leaks out. I fixed this by removing the pads and all the glue material and using gorilla glue gel to adhere the pads. Should get plenty more use out of the mouse now.
