Loving it! – This was my first mechanical keyboard (unless you could the fake mechanical keys on the Razer Tartarus). It took a bit for me to adjust to the deeper keystroke and feedback compared to the membranes I’ve been using for years, but I am glad that I finally took the plunge. I have been entirely satisfied with the feel of this keyboard.

Tired of using this after 3 weeks – Lots of empty space between the keys makes it difficult to keep your fingers positioned properly, and the extremely short activation distance means it’s easy to accidentally press a key. After that short activation distance there’s an excessively long travel so if you’re pressing the keys all the way down then they have to travel a long distance to reset before registering another stroke which slows down repeated keystrokes significantly.

Not Just for Gamers – I was in search of a backlit full size keyboard with a good tactile mechanical keys feel for use with office apps, CAD, programming. It fits the bill for me.

DO NOT BUY!!! – I like the appearance of the keyboard and it does work and light up. But the extra features that put the keyboard at the $100 price point only work with the Roccat Swarm software which would not update after the initial download. Do a search and see for yourself that it is an ongoing issue since early 2022.

Looks cool, has nice features. – This keyboard has some awesome features. This is by far the most I’ve ever paid for a keyboard. Having the volume know on the top right was a pretty neat feature that I didn’t even read about. I enjoy gaming in my free time, when I get free time. I’ve had this key oa4d for roughly a month to month and a half, I dont get to game terribly often. But within this short time, my w key, which in most games is the forward button, has begun to have this rubbing sort of sound when the key is depressed. I’ve attempted to blow it out in case dust has collected. At this point I’m unsure of what’s causing the noise, but it is annoying and disappointing. I attempted to venture away from razer, and this is proving to be a mistake. It’s pretty cool that you can change lighting affects and such, but for me. The operational ability of the keyboard is of utmost importance. Now I’ll have to live with this annoying sound until I feel like spending money to replace this nearly brand new keyboard.

Top grade keyboard, save $100’s – I purchased the Vulcan Pro with tactile pro switches. Best keyboard I’ve seen to date. I upgraded from the Corsair K95 Ultimate…yes this is an upgrade. Corsair has been having issues. Razer is good, but not $300 good. Also Razer is not without their issues as well, durability is one of them. With Roccat you get flawless German engineering at a very affordable price point. This key board is much quieter than my last ones. Also there is zero latency when gaming. As a Pro-Gamer I know equipment (keyboards, mice pads, etc.) and this is top grade built to last. Love the multi-media features and extras that come with it. The Vulcan Pro exceeds expectations and I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Software doesn’t work – I really wanted to like this. And in fact I do like the keyboard itself. But when I tried to run it with their Swarm software, the program keeps crashing. The keyboard still works but there are no led lights. I googled this and apparently this is a common problem with this keyboard. Now I could spend time and update drivers and all the other suggestions people make, but when I spend this much for a keyboard. I expect it to work out of the box. So forget it, I’m returning it and buying a Corsair.
