After 2 years… – After 2 years of use, the backlight has stopped working. The keyboard function still works and is moderately comfortable. However, it is very difficult to use and the keyboard characters can only be seen under direct light. The RGB like illumination was nice while it worked. Worked as well as any other USB keyboard on Linux.

Scroll issue at 20 months – I have enjoyed this colorful keyboard and mouse for about two years. Unfortunately, within the last month, the mouse wheel has developed a hitch in its giddyup – specifically, as you scroll, there are some places on the mouse where it just jumps the opposite direction. Tried compressed air to see if there’s any debris causing the problem and, alas, no change. Problem is getting worse such that the unpredictability renders that feature – and thus the mouse generally – unusable. 5 stars for the first 20 months, though!

I was looking for a full-size keyboard that would provide a light show similar to my laptop keyboard, with functions such as shifting/fading colors, “splash” effect with keystrokes and the like. I fell short on my responsibility to read the description thoroughly. This keyboard is only backlit, meaning the colors are stationary and no effects. It is an older fashioned mechanical keyboard so you must exert more force for the keystroke to register on your computer. Also the keyboard layout is clunky compared to a standard 101-key layout. The mouse performs the color shift/fade beautifully. I wish they incorporated that part of the technology into the keyboard. i am going to give this one away as a gift and shop another brand to get what I wanted, and “yes” I will be reading the whole description in the future. I cannot attest to gaming performance as I downgraded to console games, years ago.

Amazing for the price – I’ve had 2 of these keyboards but only because my husband can’t touch type and the paint wore off of the keys. I’m a programmer and gamer as well so I use this product literally for over 8 hours a day. I’ve spent hundreds on other brands and none have held up as well or felt more comfortable than this random keyboard I bought on a whim.
