Barracuda X: Feature set and light weight = great WFH headset, meh for gaming. – TL; DR: Low latency 2.4ghz and bluetooth jack of all trades, but sound quality and comfort are mediocre at best out of the box. Swap the pads for Brainwavz Ovals, and apply an EQ to make it usable.

– This headset worked pretty well for the first month or two. Then it started to occasionally disconnect or shut off. I had to either power-cycle the headset or unplug and re-plug in the dongle. This was a minor issue at first, but it started to become a regular occurrence and a major disruption during work meetings and even presentations. Which was the point where enough was enough, and I knew I needed to get a better headset.

– so I love backsharks for the 50mm drivers. I take 50mm driver earcups and slap them on these 40mm ear cups. I bought replacement cups off of amazon with leather on the inner and outer walls and a sports mesh face. it gives just enough space to make things comfortable.
