Small, Aesthetic, Mechanical – As someone who loves using a mechanical keyboard, but uses a laptop, usb space is very precious real estate. My main use keyboard is a full size logitech wired mechanical keyboard with blue switches. It works great but the wired aspect is a bit of a hindrance, so is the full size as it makes lugging it around a chore, but there’s no way I can go back to using my laptop’s flat keys. This keyboard aims to fix these troubles of mine. the keyboard is a 60% type, meaning no number pad and a much more compact layout. As someone who regularly uses the number pad this sucks, but for the sake of compactness it is necessary. The bluetooth connection is what got my attention, as wireless mechanical keyboards come at a premium, and some need to utilize a dongle to connect, which would defeat my purpose of reducing usb slot usage. Pairing was fairly straightforward and quick. For those who prefer to tether themselves there is the option to connect via USB C to save battery. The biggest thing that drew me in was this is a very aesthetically pleasing keyboard to look at. The PBT pudding caps have a great finger feel with their concave tops. and the translucent sides make the RGB lighting shine through in a very mesmerizing way. The different RGB pattern types make for a great change of show depending on how you want, from full colors at all time, to touch reactive blooms or sweeps, to no light at all for either battery saving or inconspicuousness. Now for the bad. I did feel a slight reduction in my WPM with this keyboard in comparison to my normal full sized. This is most likely due to the more squared, compact layout of the keys, but this should improve over time as I adjust. The real negative is how the number row does NOT have the alt number key symbols (!@#$%^&*_+) printed on the caps. If you aren’t someone who has those keys memorized it could be an issue. Besides that I find this keyboard very enjoyable. There is very minimal noticeable input lag, even when gaming. The blue switches are nice and clacky, and the presentation is just so good at a very approachable price.

Mushy membrane feel, wobbly keycaps – The keys are very easy to press down which can be good for some, but bad for easily mistyping. This keyboard does not feel very mechanical, it feels and sounds like membrane. After pulling a keycap off, it is in fact cherry mx reds. Lighting is cool but you can’t select one color. (ex. blue, red, green,) It is always RGB or no RGB not really any in between.

Great keyboard, with some minor gripes – This NACODEX keyboard is an awesome addition to multiple setups. I would have to say my favorite part of this keyboard is that it can pair to multiple devices. I wish it was more than 3, but it works perfect for me at the moment.
