Good Quality – I got the 20 ft cable because I wanted to be able to have the cable connected to the Oculus while I played. If storage or transport is a concern then maybe consider a shorter cable because this cable does take up a lot of real estate in the Oculus case. The cable is very sturdy and pretty rigid. It’s not bendy like a smaller cable. I definitely feel like it’s excellent quality for the price.

A Studio photography must have – I often shoot photos in my studio, and being able to shoot tethered, greatly increases my workflow. This cable is long enough to stretch from my office to any shooting position in my home studio. So far the durability of this has been great for my needs. I’m not too rough on my equipment or accessories so I’m not sure how this would hold up for someone that may be careless or tough on things. This has been a great cable and I’m sure it will find many more uses outside of connecting my cameras to my pc. Highly recommend to anyone considering this cable.

Fantastic build quality, but a little too thick! – The cable works perfectly for SideQuest and PC Link VR gaming. The build quality is super heavy duty. That’s my biggest complaint. If you have the basic head strap, then it’s a bit of a fiddling with since you don’t have good enough space to Velcro strap it to the side of the headset. For a heavy-duty head strap, you are much better using a plastic clip instead of Velcro. BUT! that being said, I used it for hours before finding out you don’t need cables and just use Wireless Link to play Steam VR, you still need the link cable if you plan on side loading apps/games via Side Quest App.

great solution to battery issues on Oculus – My son was really happy to get this cable. Easily long enough for him to be able to plug in his oculus without it being a hazard and the cable itself if stiff enough to not twist and tangle. Should be made a standard feature

Use it easy – The top broke 2 days after my son got it for his 10th birthday. I’m not sure how it happen but not strong enough for my son not to break.

Slightly Misleading, Works but not as expected (Not good if you’re going to plug it into PC) – So, the product works but not as I expected and you’re probably better off getting another cable that’s probably only $5-10 more. I got the cable to mainly connect to my PC and keep it charging while I play to have infinite battery basically. But even with it connected to my PC it was “charging” but not enough to keep up and the battery will slowly drain, and the battery will still die if you’re playing and charging (it really depends how much Amps your USB on your computer is able to output, some peoples might be enough, but the vast majority of people have had this same problem). As an estimate if on battery alone your VR lasts for like 2 hours, with this USB’d into a PC it might last for 3-4 instead. So, I do think they’re lying on the Amps, Oculus is meant for 5V/2A I think, and this says 3A but it’s not even able to keep the battery from draining or charge as fast as oculus stock one, so it’s probably like a lot of amazon cables that are cheaper and only 5V/1A (I don’t have one of those fancy meters to actually test it tho). I also tested it compared to the Stock Oculus charger, the stock one would take 2-3 minutes to gain 1% while plugged into the WALL OUTLET (just sitting in the Quest home screen I waited for the % to go up timing it). I unplugged the stock one and plugged this cable in the same power box (stock oculus brick thing lol) and it would take at least 5 minutes to gain 1% and one time it took more than 7 minutes (did it the same thing and just sat in the Quest home screen and waiting for % to rise so it’s not like I was in a game using any more power than when I tested it with the stock charger. So even plugged into the wall it wasn’t charging as good as the stock charger. I haven’t tried to plug it into the wall and play to see if the charger will be able to keep up with the battery (like you could play infinitely) I’m guessing it would be better and probably be able to but for this cable being MEANT to plug into a PC it doesn’t keep it charged when plugged in PC.

Will NOT keep my Quest Pro Charged while I’m gaming. – i got this cable because i wanted a longer cable so i can play games and keep my Quest pro charged while gaming. while i can game doing the PC link, i got a 2.3gig data rate, but this cable does not keep the head set charged up. the $79.00 cable i got from Meta works great, i can play for hours and my quest pro will still be charged and ready for the next game.

Worth it – Cable quality feels better than any other cable I’ve used. It is also pretty thick, reference about the width of the stock headband adjusters on the sides. It’s got nice weight to it and is braided. Will have plenty of use to last a while
