Solid product, mic is extremely finicky. – If the mic isn’t essentially in your mouth people have a hard time hearing you. Otherwise, comfy enough, seems sturdy and the sound quality is very good. Great value for the price, just lots of mic adjustment needs to be made for every game.

Hyper x is top tier. – I’ve used many headsets in the past. As a sponsored player years ago I used turtle beaches but have since moved over to hyper x in the last few years. Even the lower cost headsets are well made an worth every dollar.

Good but not that good – Was hoping these would be good got two pairs of turtle beaches and just wanted to get better sound in apex. Id say these are better then one pair and worse then the other in sound. Same with comfort better then one of my pairs and worse then the other. All around Ill stick with this for awhile its the newest of the three and maybe it will grow on me. Still feels a little awkward like the ear pieces are bigger then needed and I have big ears and the U part that goes over the head isnt snug or having the right cushioning in the right places. The build quality in some places shines though but feels could still be improved. Then again if they fixed that they’d be a 5 star and it would probably effect the higher model sales that likely have a more bloated profit margin.

For the price, this is a winner – I tried the new TB Stealth V2, they sounded great, but it was really tight and went back. The wireless HyperX was next up, but for $175, it felt exactly like the much cheaper wired version. The wireless has more bells and whistles with the push to mute and some sound tweaks (red/green LED mic was nice), but it didn’t sound much different and comfort wise was the same. Save some cash, go with this. Plus, the wireless is all plastic, so the arms will break for sure. This is metal, hoping it lasts.
