Really good solid Gaming Ear Buds. – I got tired of using gaming headsets for extended periods of time and I wanted to look into some gaming earbuds so I went with these.

A case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde – I have been an Amazon shopper for decades, but this is the first time I’m writing a review on a product because I had completely enjoyed this pair of earbuds (notice the past tense) so much that I am compelled to write a review. Bass is very deep for on-ear earbuds, volume is loud, tweeter is clear without any shrills, and mid range warm-toned. I fell in love with this pair of earbuds, especially because I hate the over-the-head bulk of a typical headset and the vacuum suction of the in-ear earbuds. Also, because this pair of earbuds rests just outside of the ear canals without completely blocking them, the sound from the drivers naturally produce a surround sound effect, which effectively expands the audio space to about 5 feet all around you as opposed to resonating it only within your skull from a typical in-ear-canal earbuds.

Great for Steam Deck, with some caveats. – Firstly, I’d like to point out that I got these for $24 on sale. At this price they are easily 5 stars but I will be reviewing them as if I paid $40. The sound compared to other gaming earbuds in this price point is great and I can hear where enemies are coming from very clearly. I play Fallout mostly and it picks up on little sounds in the environment that I normally would not hear from the speakers. The mic is okay but the turtle beach stealth buds do have a significantly better microphone so if you’re looking for a great voice/game chat experience, you should pick those up instead. Now for 40 dollars I am expecting better options on the control panel of the earbuds instead of just one button, but if you’re using this only for gaming then you needn’t worry about that it’s just a preference for me. I’d like to mention as well that it does come with a cute little carrying case which is small enough to keep on the Steam Deck case, that is a major plus for me. Lastly, a lot of people in the reviews say they aren’t that comfortable. I use the largest size earplug despite having small ears, they fit real snug and I didn’t get any pain in my ears despite playing for 5-6 hours. Overall, if you’re going to pick these up I’d recommend getting them on sale from 20-30 dollars because at the price point they are a great value with the included carrying case.
