What Switch? – Was sceptical at first due to 2 things that other people have mentioned which were the D-pad and the buttons being backwards (see pictures). After a week of weighing the pros and cons, I went ahead and ordered one for myself. What can I say, this feels good in the hands with my Pixel 3XL. After a few hours of using the controller, I didn’t even notice these as issues. The only big difference I see from the G6 to the X2 is the analog stick feels sturdier on the X2 which to me feels like an improvement. Every buttons press or analog movement was precise for native games and with the use of a remapping app. My only true negative is that I needed to take my phone out of the case in order for the controller to connect. It did held my phone securely but I’m sure it’s not meant to replace a phone case and I’m the type of person that keeps a phone for many years.

Fantastic After Firmware Update – Resolves Hanging, Disconnects – I bought this because it was the first gamepad of several I tried that connects to my Galaxy S22 Ultra in Xinput mode. Besides my Xbox controller of course. I was thrilled at first, I wanted a convenient, travel friendly gamepad that would work with multiple devices.

Quick review and usability with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 – Build and durability: It is small. Best way to put it, it is about 75% of the switch joycons in height. The quality of the plastic is worse and thinner then the glap controllers. I do not believe they will survive even a 3ft fall. But this also makes the controller super light, which is a very good thing since the galaxy fold is a heavy device. All the buttons on the surface are small as well; the top buttons and triggers are normal xbox controller sized. Quality wise, the buttons feel good and have a good click to them. The usb-c connector is flexible and wont break when pulling the phone out.
