Best option I have tried for PC gaming with voice chat, overall good performance – We have all had really terrible headset mics. Either the headset itself is uncomfortable, tinny, or breaks if you look at it funny, or the mic has you sounding like a WW2 dispatch officer. This is not those headphones.

– Let’s get the ugly out of the way first. This headset is possibly the WORSE I’ve ever owned in respect to connect-ability. For it to connect and stay connected you constantly have to go to sound settings and select it as default & default communication device…not a problem usually, but for some reason. When I try to connect to steam chat, I’m forever having to do this and unplug and re plug the dongle for it to connect. I was ok with it at first, but NOW it’s just annoying the hell out of me. Not to mention whenever I plug the dongle in the USB port, I ALWAYS get a “searching for device driver” window pop up and once again search for the driver that’s been downloaded at least a dozen times over. VERY VERY FRUSTRATING AND MADDENING. I fail to understand this. My old Logitech wireless NEVER EVER had this issue, I’d simply plug the dongle in and a small headset beep then I was good to go….ALWAYS.

Great Headphones, god awful software – The headphones are very comfortable, sound is great and battery life is amazing, even for someone who uses them for around 12 hours a day. They are very good all around, and they are the best headphones I’ve ever had. They would be perfect, but there’s a few things weighing it down.

Great product for listening to audio, video and gaming usage – It is a great product that is worth every dollar spent on it! In order for it to work correctly you must fully charge this headset via a USB Charging Cable for an hour or more before its usage and it requires that you download the ICue Driver Device Software from Corsair.com. This wireless headset will become the primary or default audio device within the windows 10 or 11 Operating System on your computer and it will disable any onboard or offboard soundcard devices until you choose to change your audio device back to its enabled setting within the Windows Control Pannel. The ICue software will locate any device updates for connected devices…. There’s also a firmware/software update available for the headset. “Please use extreme caution before doing or using firmware updates for the first time if you’re unsure or never done this before and get someone to help you that knows what they’re doing and has updated the same make and model headset. Please be advised “Do Not Use a USB HubSplitter Device if you’re going to update the headsets firmware because it will damage or cause the device to no longer work “Bricking It”…Corsair.com and others whom have used this headset to follow these steps: “With using the firmware/software updates for this product you must have the headset connected to its USB Cable via a single USB Port on the computer during the entire firmware update process or cycle to complete because it takes several minutes to do so, following any and all of the onscreen instructions…”
