Lacks user selectable formats and frame rates, will only pick up what you feed it and not all are correct. 1080i60 is recognized as 1080P60, 1080P 29.97 is also recognized as 1080P60.

It jumps forward in chunks of maybe 30 seconds. So if you’re replaying a recording and want to skip the commercial breaks, you’ll never land on the end of the last commercial. What the heck! Well you probably didn’t miss much anyway.

4.5 stars – no RFID or HDCP issues – I have a very large collection of DVDs and Blu Rays from a very specific marching music activity called drum and bugle corps. I’ve been trying to create files of my entire collection for years now. But some DVDs and all the blu rays are un-rippable. I tried 3 ways to create files and none worked. This product has a sketchy vibe to it but works perfectly. I just hooked it up to my PS5 and my TV, plugged in a usb drive and it does the trick. My only complaint is the remote it comes with causes my tv to do random things that are different than what the box does. But, hey, I got my money’s worth.
