Connectivity problems but great mic – read – So all of the reviews on this mic are pretty great, so I figured it would be a perfect mic. I was so excited to use this mic, but when it got here, it wasn’t connecting to my MacBook (2016) pro. I was so confused and frustrated. my laptop wasn’t recognizing that the mic was even plugged in. I had the cord from the microphone plugged into a USB to usbc converter to my MacBook so I figured it might be that. I figured out what cable went into the mic (mini B), so I ordered a mini B to usbc cable, and tried it and it works!! make sure you go to system preferences >> sound >> and click your microphone on your MacBook. hope this helps someone !

Great sound but can’t handle high volume – Easy to set up and use. Great audio quality. However even with the gain all the way down ilI have trouble recording my piano. At close range it peaks out and distorts the sound. So I have to move it further away where the sound isn’t as nice. Watched a bunch of internet videos and tried everything. It seems to be a native limitation of the microphone itself

Good sound, but a bit overpriced and a bit overhyped – Purchased the white out edition of the mic and paired it with a white mic arm and white pop filter. Looks really badass all together. Matches my PC build.

Amazing gift for my bestie – This was a last minute decision birthday gift for my best friend who desperately needed an upgrade. From what she has told me she loves it. It’s a HUGE upgrade from what she had. Her only complaint is how sensitive it is to other sounds going on in the apartment while she is using it. As a voice actor, i know this mic is meant for more than what she uses it for and hope that eventually she does start to use it for those purposes eventually.

Filters out the loud fan noise on my computer even with USB-C adapter – I got this specifically for filtering out a loud, buzzing fan noise that my small laptop generates. The noise interrupts my Zoom calls and people can hear it whenever I’m not on mute. It’s loud and super annoying. I was skeptical that a microphone could filter that much noise properly, but it does! The folks I Zoom with can’t hear it at all when I use this microphone. I only have USB-C ports on my laptop, so I have to use an adapter, and the microphone even works well using the adapter.

I debated getting another one, I like the Snowball, there’s no complaints but the shape, size and let’s be honest, the amazing pink color lured me to buy this one. I just finished by first set of recordings (online courses) and wow, the sounds is amazing. My Snowball is a few years old at this point but I was surprised at the upgrade in sound quality. I would highly recommend this over the Snowball if you can afford it (I got this one on sale).
