Plastic sound wheel – I thought the sound was great. The mic was fine for me. I’m not looking for $500 quality. The one thing I didn’t like was the sound wheel is a bit loose and you can hear it from time to time when you move your head.

Very good. Use these all the time now. – I’ve had my eyes set on MMX 300 for a long time, but when they released a new gaming headset with detachable mic for half the price, I had to get the MMX 150.

Good for $100 – I like these headphones but they have some bad points. The earcups are not good but I put some Brainwavz earcups on and it helped the comfort a lot. After 4-5 months of use the volume wheel is a bit bad but maybe it’s just my pair. The slightest movement of it and the audio goes only to my left ear and I have to re-adjust it.

Almost perfect – The sound quality and surround of these headphones is great, and they are solidly built, with metal at critical points. They lose some in weight, as long periods of wear can cause discomfort. Additionally, the volume knob seems a bit tacked on, the wheel is very loose and would be more useful as a knob or click wheel. imo

DO NOT BUY IF YOU WANT TO BE ABLE TO BUY REPLACEMENT PADS – I bought these back in April. Already, one of the ear pads has broken completely. They do NOT sell replacement pads at all, even after a full year of it being on the market, and them saying they are going to be bringing them to the market almost a full year ago.

Exactly what I wanted sound wise, but the ear pads, I want to changr – The headphones are great, the sound quality is fantastic. The microphone is solid for a headset. It has a removable mic and cable so it’s perfect in that regard. But the ear pads are just not right for me, and the ear cups don’t swivel quite enough for comfort. If they made fabric ear pads with the same memory foam material, it would be perfect. They really are worth the price despite these flaws though

been using audio technica for DECADES& these are better – TLDR: if you are shorter than 6’2 and have smaller ears these are PERFECT! i’m breaking them in and cannot say enough about how good the build is and sound stage. THE ONLY issue besides the smaller ear cup interior is that the braided cable can be heard when its sliding on ANY surface. for once i wish it was plastic and not able to rasp or send feedback into the headset. when i run my thumbnail along it i can hear it in both ears. sounds like a 70’s era mountain climbers rope in a caribiner “VOOoOoOoOT!” but its not a deal breaker and a bit of cable management should fix this asap. OVERALL good build and solid buy.
