Best Monitor on the Market – If you want an amazing monitor and don’t mind breaking the bank a little bit, please do yourself a favor and get this monitor. Asus has always been the best, but wow, this one really blew me away. (im a pc player)

Many Ways to Play – So, I just upgraded from my ASUS VG248QE to the VG258QM, the one with the 0.5 hz TN panel. I decided that Hardware Unboxed (I think it was) found that the IPS panel didn’t quite handle the Black Frame Insertion (ELMB) which is an improved feature I used on my VG248QE. Now, if you didn’t know, earlier 144 hz monitors in 2013 had an optional 120 hz mode that was used primarily for 3d glasses. Remember those? Yeah. So if you hacked it, you could have this thing called “lightboost” which gamers found worked for reducing motion blur. After this hack came out and after Nvidia 3D Vision died, monitors used better versions of this tech, and called it “black frame insertion”. That’s why I got ELMB.

Bought Used and Works Perfectly! An Amazing Monitor – ASUS has always been my go-to for monitors and I bought this one used. I was a little bit worried because I’ve had a bad experience or two with Amazon Warehouse before, but this monitor works perfectly! No dead pixels or scratches anywhere.

Good, but with many annoying issues – Overall, given the price the monitor is quite good. The response times for IPS are decent and the input lag at 240/280Hz is low. But it has a few annoying issues:

Brutal Rendimiento en juegos FPS – Compre este monitor eldia 3 de octubre y lo recibi el dia 20 de este, casi sin ningun inconveniente, antes de este tenia el Asus vg248qg de 165 hertz con g sync, y el salto de 165 hertz a 240 – 280 es muy notorio, para sacarle el 100% al monitor hay que migrar a RTX, de todas maneras el panel TN tiene un representacion del color muuy bueno y en general un super buen desempeño. El quie quiera comprar uno asegurese de tener minimo una 1080 ti para poder recien aprobecharlo.
