Great quality gaming mouse! – The ASUS ROG Strix Impact II Wireless Gaming mouse is hands down about one of the best gaming and content creation mice I have ever used. The PTFE/Teflon feet glide across my desk and mousepad like greased lightning! I’ve never had a mouse this smooth. I’m coming from Corsair’s Dark Core v1 AND v2 wireless gaming mice and in comparison, they just feel so awkward and clumsy compared the the ASUS ROG Strix Impact II. With The Dark Core v1 AND v2 mice, I would have a difficult time when clicking buttons and getting the clicks to register. My hands are a bit smaller and no matter what Corsair says, it’s not geared for smaller hands and does not track well. On the other hand, ( pun intended 🙂 ), The ASUS ROG Strix Impact II wireless gaming mouse reads my mouse clicks from any point when pressing the buttons. If you decided that you want to run the mouse wired, the wire is very easy to work with and manipulates very well when in motion while attached to the mouse. The RGB are bright, but not overwhelming and the colors are true. The mouse wheel doesn’t require extra force to get it to spin and it rolls perfectly balanced between the amount of force required to rotate the wheel, texture and grip of the wheel and the actual steps of the wheel. While in game, I have never encountered an issue at all.
