16 reviews for ASUS ROG Strix Go 2.4 Wireless Gaming

Great audio quality, terrible build quality – Most of the reviews with pictures show the shabby design around the adjustment on the side. 6 days into owning a pair, the taking off and putting on of the headphones a few dozen times caused a stress crack in one of the sides. A few days after that, the entire side failed and the earcup was dangling by a wire. I’m going to chuck these and go back to a Corsair headset. Asus is a favorite for GPU’s and Motherboards for me but their peripherals need some design/engineering work.

    2. A. C (verified owner)

Poor Audio Quality for the Price – I wanted to like this because I am a fan of Asus in general. For the price, it isn’t worth it. Yes, the headset is comfortable. Yes, it has good range. Heck, I even like the USB-C connector. What I cannot get past, however, is the audio quality. Out of the box, the headset is set to do some major noise canceling to the point it distorts my voice to anyone listening so badly they had choice words to say about the setup. Even so, it did not filter out noise that I was told sounded like some sort of windstorm going directly into the mic. When the software from Asus was downloaded to attempt to fix the EQ settings, profiles only stuck until the computer rebooted. Then defaults came back with a vengeance. The mic in the one ear cup is so poor it sounds like I am on the telephone at that, so using it alone is not an option. For 200 bucks and some change, I expect more from a headset… Better bass, crisper music, software that works, or better yet, a button on the headset itself to turn off noise canceling if it is going to be so severe that one’s voice sounds like it’s coming from a crappy laptop mic. Pretty sure the bulk of the price was for the casing because surely it wasn’t for the audio Asus built into this thing.

Excelentes y muy comodos – Me gusta la cancelacion de ruido y la comodidad al usarlos, en mac no he encontrado el software para activar cancelacion de ruido.

Detailed information – The mic noise cancelation is amazing and after using asus armor create (asus aura) it perfected the mic even more, they are comfortable headphones but because they only surround the ear and dont go alittle farther out they can hurt your ears after awhile, the volume control and mute function is very strange, it looks like a dial but its not its like a switch and a button. Button mutes the mic

    6. R. F (verified owner)

Audifonos que no defraudan – Son muy buenos, los sonidos son excelente y muy comodos. la duracion de la bateria esta muy bien. Recomendados.

    7. H. D (verified owner)

Works good but AI cancellation has limits – Cancels out most background noise, especially machines and music, dogs etc. But it doesn’t really handle a crying baby. Your best bet if you need extreme wireless noise cancellation is the Poly Voyager 2, but if you just need decent headset and to tone down roommates, HVAC noise, blenders, vacuums, dogs etc occasionally then this is perfect.

It’s great – My clients cannot hear me very well

RETURNED; do not buy – Initially, I really liked them. They’re light, comfortable and the sound is pretty good. The boom mic is fine but I found the microphone in the earcup to do a better job with my voice.
