I like it so far – Previously had a low profile k70 silent so compared to that one this one is a bit loud not too loud to make me not have it tbh, the rgb is great the software could use some updating honestly on k70 i was able to layer rgb settings on this on is kinda one and done, the volume control is great wrist rest is good i will update my review later on so i can vouch on durability of it, but so far i live it!

My son boast it’s the best he’s had – Bought for my sons birthday he has been pleased with it and likes that you can replace the key caps to fit your ever changing mood. He is rough on keyboards and this one has been tough enough to outlast his outbursts when he loses at overwatch. A very good purchase.

Favorite key switches of all time – I’ll preface this with I’m no keyboard connoisseur but this is the best keyboard I’ve owned and by FAR the most satisfying key switches I’ve used. Sounds cheesy but I actually find reasons to type things out long form just to use this keyboard as much as possible.

Great, but be aware… – Great keyboard. works well, feels great, loads of features. Just be aware, in my case, the “default” keyboard profile rendered the 2 dedicated buttons used to lock the Windows Key and to adjust the LED Brightness completely inoperable. No matter what i did, software or hardware-wise, both buttons didnt respond and the windows key was disabled. Once i changed to “profile 1”, which contained the exact same settings as the default profile, the buttons started working again. Don’t spend 3 hours troubleshooting it like i did. maybe it was a bad firmware update, i dont know.

ASUS Rog masterrace – If you are a fan of ASUS Rog products and building a PC with all ROG components and peripherals then this keyboard is a great addition. I’m not a fan of the animate and can easily be turned off in armoury crate. Great RGB lighting which is a must on all PC gamers nowadays lol. I turn off all RGB on my PC if needed to.

Don’t confuse keys for anything like Cherry’s – I bought this to replace a Cherry MX Red Ducky I have and thought the reds would simulated Cherrys a little in profile. Nope this keyboard and the very bad software were a bust. The software will disable your windows key even if you replace the keyboard! The Red Keys are A LOT quieter than Cherry Reds. The price point is ridiculous compared to its competitors. The Animate software is not good. The import feature even sucks. I have a ASUS prebuilt I thought would be complemented by this but it is a hard pass.
