Super responsive for fast typing – Metal chasis, quick clicks for fast typing, no crazy frills, and I got it on discount. Didn’t even know the white light was blacklighting but it illuminates well. I use this is my office and get complements all the time. When in reality I just like clicky keyboards and aluminum frames to last long.

Great, but the stabilizers are awful. Also.. – Did anybody else read that this had a braided cable in the description? Because that’s not what it came with. It’s just a plain black rubber, which is not what I was hoping for. That’s not unexpected for the price, but the product details claimed otherwise, so that’s annoying.

Ok keyboard for the price. – Here are my first impressions on this interesting keyboard. First the positive. This keyboard has beefy metal plate that the key switches are fastened through. It provides nice rigidity and stability. I also like the alphanumeric keys being a different color from the peripheral keys. I remember keyboards like this back in the 80’s and It gives it a bit of an industrial appearance. The key switches are not as “clicky” as I had expected. There is some tactile feel but not as much as I would like. The key pressure is nice. For those of you that desire a colorful back lighting display, please know that you can have any color as long as it is white. Don’t despair though, as there are enough pre-programmed lighting effects to give you an epileptic fit. So, now let us talk about the down sides. Make no mistake, this is a very noisy keyboard. Not so much because of the “clicky” switches, but because the key caps are so thin that the clicks echo and ring. It does not have that nice solid IBM feel, especially the space bar that clatters and shakes while you type. The backlighting shines nicely through the letters but the font looks like it was designed by an extraterrestrial. It just looks goofy. The tab key, caps lock and shift simply have arrows instead of text. I did not know that a down arrow means caps lock. Lastly, this is something that I have noticed on many mechanical keyboards. The switches are left raised up and exposed instead of being recessed into some kind of surround. It just looks cheap but it should be easy to clean with compressed air. I would call this a reasonable keyboard considering the price. Also, since it has Cherry clone switches, I should be able to replace the key caps with something a little more solid.

Still functions fine. First LED light out 4 months in – I have loved the keyboard so far. Only problem now is the LED behind the “Y” key has failed. It can be difficult to see the key now in a low light environment. Plus it is annoying every time I see it. I pulled the key away to see if something was blocking the light, but there is nothing and I can see the LED is off. I would not purchase again for fear this is typical.

Issues after a year – Everything was going great for about a year then two leds died and now the backspace button types an 8 and shift 1 adds a / after it. Nice keyboard just wouldn’t expect it to last forever.

My wife doesn’t care about this keyboard – My wife bought this keyboard for work. She uses it. She likes it because it’s a keyboard.

Good quality, spacebar stabilizers shakey – It’s been working good, you definitely need to get used to the control changes from whatever keyboard you were using before. I would like to know what anyone has done to change the shakiness of the spacebar as it’s very unstable and much louder than the rest of the keys.

Good keyboard – Great keyboard. Nice sound, good value for the price. The only con is that in bright light the letters are not so visible
